French coaching questions

What students ask first.

  • NCLC 7+ (TEF ≥ 207 or TCF ≥ 300) adds +25 CRS if your English is CLB 4 or below, or +50 CRS if your English is CLB 5+. The +50 case is the highest single bonus on the Express Entry grid for many candidates.

  • Either works for Express Entry. TEF is more widely available globally; TCF is computer-delivered and often has earlier slots in major cities. We pick based on slot availability in your city.

  • Yes — Quebec uses TEF or TCF Quebec versions for PEQ / CSQ programs. Score thresholds and the bonus structure differ from federal Express Entry.

  • Realistically 8–12 months of consistent prep at 5–7 hours per week. Most learners plateau between B1 and B2 — we coach the writing rubric specifically.

+50 CRS is often the difference between an invitation and the next round.
