Germany study questions

Practical decisions.

  • For most public universities and most programs at bachelor and master’s level, yes. Baden-Württemberg charges non-EU students €1,500/semester. Private universities charge market rates. We pick programs based on funding model.

  • For German-taught programs, yes. English-taught master’s programs (a growing share) accept IELTS 6.5+. We map your language level to programs that fit it now — you can upgrade to B1 German for PR later.

  • On an EU Blue Card, 21 months with B1 German, or 33 months with A1. Niederlassungserlaubnis grants permanent settlement; we time your B1 test for the 21-month window.

German institutional associations

Universities of Applied Sciences and private business schools across the German-speaking region.
