TRV questions

Common decision points.

  • Visa office dependent. Many offices clear straightforward files in 4–6 weeks; some take 12–16 weeks. Refusal-recovery files take longer because the file is rebuilt before resubmission.

  • Insufficient ties to the home country, followed by financial concerns. Both are addressable in the application narrative — most self-filed cases never try.

  • Yes. We obtain GCMS notes from the prior refusal, identify the officer’s specific concern, and rebuild the file around that concern. Re-filing is the norm, not the exception.

  • Inland switches are allowed for many visitor categories under current policy. We assess switch eligibility before booking the visit so it can double as the longer-term entry.
